We can hardly believe it — Wonderstruck Tarot has fully funded and unlocked every single stretch goal!

When I first began sketching this deck, the world was in lockdown. Everything slowed down, and for a while, it felt like the light dimmed a little everywhere. Drawing became my way of staying connected to beauty, to hope, to life. I started sketching small moments that reminded us of humanity’s quiet strength: a woman sipping tea by her window, flowers growing despite the rain, sunlight finding its way through curtains. Those sketches became stories, and those stories became cards.

There were days it felt impossible, endless revisions, late-night debates over symbols, color palettes, and foil tones. we dug deep into printing techniques, trying to capture something that felt alive: the shimmer of light, the touch of warmth, the softness of everyday's life. Some people might look at this deck and say it’s too colorful, too busy, but every line, every building, every petal and ripple of water holds meaning. Each card carries a feeling, a connection, and a story we hope will mean something to you too.

We didn’t just create this deck for you; we created it with you. Every message, every comment, every bit of encouragement from our backers became part of its heartbeat. You helped shape Wonderstruck Tarot just by believing in it and in us.

When we doubted whether our art would be accepted, your support reminded us that honesty and emotion do have a place in art. You gave us courage to keep going, even when things got messy (and trust us, they did — coffee spills and wrist cramps included 😅).
